Some of the most emotional and special images I’ve captured are newborn portraits. Portraits that show the tiny new human in their context, home in their room with their parents. These portraits bring tears on reveal day and hold a special place in my heart.

Little Doc was no exception. His portraits captured the raw beauty of the first days at home. These moments captured not only with photos, but video’s a treasure to his mom and dad.

Videos that translate to real life, and bring you back to the moment, smells and sounds of your newborn. The greatest emotion I see, generally is after parents see their video. This is an amazing service I provide that is unique and so much fun to capture too.

Many times, if parents want the best of both worlds, posed and lifestyle newborn portraits, I often do both offering newborn sessions that are posed, and then finishing up with a half hour to hour of lifestyle newborn shoot with the family. These memories are so precious, and when then get into a book or album are so wonderful to look back on.
